I felt like those other survivors were probably the most real, least opportunistic, people who she ever spoke to

It’s crazy how outside looking in she has it all, the money, the fame, the riches. Yet she seems so lonely and sad. She seems incomplete. Like she’s looking for something she’s missing but she can’t seem to figure out what it is but she doesn’t wanna come off as ungrateful for all she has worked for and all that she has. Maybe Money really can’t buy happiness.

Her parents ruined her emotionally when they put her in Provo. When she told her mother what they did to her, the mom acted like she cared. She didn't. She said "if we knew, we would have got you out". When they kidnapped Paris, her parents should have known what type of place it was. The mom was all about appearances. Sad.

Some parents will never say “I’m sorry” They won’t accept accountability because they don’t feel at fault they disassociate how their actions impacted there children. I still haven’t gotten an apology. I got a “there are no hard feelings or bad thoughts towards you” from my dad...... because I stopped talking to my parents for over 3 years and when I tried reconnecting I see that they haven’t broken that cycle. I was looking for an apology. And that’s all I got. Reverse psychology to make me believe it was “my doing”............ sometimes not even family can be counted on.....

she looks like she doesn't believe the mother when she said 'had she known, she and her father would have been there in a second'

“Have you ever said sorry to mom and dad?” SHE WAS A TEENAGER WHO WAS KIDNAPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. WHY WOULD AHE NEED TO APOLOGISE TO HER PARENTS FOR ANYTHING.

Her family are toxic. Her sister “I always told on her” “I don’t feel sorry for you” “you were naughty” “did you ever apologise to mum and dad?”. Her mother “I take everything with a grain of salt” “I would’ve been there in a second” “everything I didn’t want her to be doing, she done”. Her fathers straight up refusal to be in the film? Toxic, abusive. Nicknaming her star from a baby, literally pigeonholing the girl into what she would become. Focusing on her appearance and not her soul. Sending her to boot camp after boot camp after she ran away and told you she was getting nightmares, but not questioning why? “My mother wanted me to be a Hilton, I just wanted to be Paris” is literally the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever heard. My opinion on this woman has completely changed. You’re so strong Paris, but take some time to fill your life and heart with positivity and emotional growth. You have years to make your billion. You’re an icon. Be Paris 🥺

I’m so glad she did this documentary. She honestly doesn’t get enough credit, especially as a business women and entrepreneur. I hope we see more of this from her, it’s truly admirable.

She will never stop racing thru life until her mind calms down and sadly it might never happen if she can't face her trauma.....everyone is going thru something we need to stop judging and just take a moment realize that person is HUMAN. Not a photospread in a magazine. Hope you heal Paris 🙏 Paris clenched fists when she hugs her mom says it all, her mom doesn't feel bad for Paris, she wants to be forgiven because she KNEW it broke Paris and Paris knows that too, that's why she can't embrace her own mother. Women like her mom should never have kids they aren't an extension of you they are not your trophies. Her mom paraded her around like a show dog, and when Paris showed her true tomboy character and wild nature her mom wasn't having it and had her dragged to Provo. A true narcissist parent, the younger sister is the golden child here, she will never go against mommy dearest, she wants to stay in

The mother comes across completely heartless, I don’t believe she cared at the time or now what happened to Paris. Her parents are just as abusive for allowing that to happen to her.

All her nightmares and mental stress she has could have been avoided if her parents I don’t know .....BE FREAKING PARENTS!!!!!! Like seriously all of this happened cause they sent her to Provo DAMN WELL KNOWING what happens there cause honey lets be honest by her mothers reaction SHE KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO HER DAUGHTER, even if we give her the benefit of the doubt and this is the first time she is hearing about what happened to her OWN daughter 15+ years later MA’AM you have failed as a mother

If your child jumps down an entire set of stairs to escape a school, then something is OBVIOUSLY wrong?

this was so much more intense than I expected. Everyone is going through something or went through something life altering and traumatic. A reminder not to judge, to be kind and loving to everyone.

ok but why isn’t anyone removing her dude?? like she’s obviously uncomfy and asking him to be removed, and everyone is just like.. watching?

  • Macaroons and Candyfloss

Her parents deserve to feel utter guilt and shame for what she had to endure. They just wanted to wash their hands of her ‘problems’. I would not be surprised if she was abused sexually as a child too 😔

I feel like the whole story of Paris Hilton was always leading up to this. What a lesson for all of us. Often the most outwardly glamorous and opulent appearing lives have the most tragedy behind them..
